I'm loud and I talk a lot about links ๐Ÿ”— Digital PR Manager @FATJOE

See ya #UpNorth!! Here's a roundup while I'm struggling to balance my laptop on my lap lolFirstly! Shoutout to connective3 for a fantastic event!Secondly, if you want my slides on ideation or if you want 30 more ways to come up with ideas you can find them in the first comment โฌ‡ Some of my highlights:Elle-Louise Wilmot's talk was by far my favourite! She's an ex-TikTok employee who's gone to grow a community into a business and work with the likes of the Sidemen. She talks about how you can have ups and downs and how you need a strong online community to lean on during the downs. She stresses the power of LinkedIn for building a personal brand (hence why I've posted again today lol)My personal favourite tidbit was how out of the box she was with jumping on opportunities! She's landed her Tiktok job through a Tiktok CV, she landed her sidemen gig through a creative LinkedIn post and most of all she's built a whole community on the back of Tiktok which was a great example of "solving your own problems" as a business strategy.Couldn't recommend this talk enough!Steve Paine The Head of Data Journalism at Sistrix had a super informative talk on the Best of womenโ€™s fashion SEO. This was such an insightful talk on the power of data, trends and how proper SEO can help impact your share of market! I've learned so much about data, trends and how to look at it.Overall he spoke a lot about the different brands dominating the fashion SEO space and some commonalisties within their strategies. An absolute data masterpiece of a talk!Azeem Ahmad's talk wasn't about marketing, it was about what's more important! His talk was titled "Resilience in action โ€“ how to move forward during tough times". He shared some of his tough time and how we got through them! Honestly to share your tough moments so openly so people can learn and inspire them is probably the bravest thing anyone can do!Thanks for being such an inspiration to the industry Azeem! โค๏ธ Rejoice Ojiaku's talk on content briefs was packed with insight for an 8-minute talk! My main takeaway was how important content briefs were to ensure the information communicated from the SEO team to the content team was clear and actionable.Itamar Blauer's talk around how to unify digital marketing teams was super fun and informative! He swore by the effectiveness of working as a team and avoiding being siloed into your organic, PPC or dev teams! Also loads of basketball puns in there which were turely iconic ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ‘Ella Wright also gave us the all you can eat guide for UGC in only 8 mins! Basically if you're not using UGC everywhere right now, what are you doing! Eirini Theodoridou ๐Ÿ’ซ's talk is a must watch for anyone trying to get digital PR right! Super valuable 8 mins ๐Ÿ‘ Katie Thompson's passionate rants about the current SEO industry and predictions for whats to come is why I go to events like these! Bascially don't piss Google or Katie off with hacky SEO and you should be fine ๐Ÿ‘

Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter seems to be going well...If the point was to get rid of PRs!๐ŸšจMuckrack's 2024 State of PR Report showcases that 27% of PR pros will spend less time on Twitter (or X ๐Ÿ™ƒ ). ๐Ÿ”ด You can see Twitter fall down the pecking order as the 5th social media app PRs use. I also predict for next year Reddit will probably overtake Twitter - at least you can see who likes your posts there.๐Ÿ’š We also see that a whopping 61% of PR pros want to spend more time on Linkedin (which is an 8% increase from last year).Any predictions if Twitter will die in 2024? ๐Ÿค”

Announcement time!! <Insert sad quote about goodbyes being a chance for hellos or smth!> My time at ClickThrough Marketing has sadly come to an end! I'd like to thank them for taking a bet on me and helping me grow so much the past year! It's been a hell of a ride and you guys genuinely changed my life in ways you might not know! love y'all!!I'd also like to thank Jennie Lindehoff especially for being the best manager anyone could ask for!! A special thanks for hearing me rant about the weather and talk about hikes for the past year lol! โค๏ธEven though I've been nicknamed traitor in not one but two separate company presentations, I'd just like to say Traitor is an absolute banger of a tune!! Shoutout @Olivia Rodrigo who doesn't have LinkedIn...On a real though I'm both sad to be leaving and super excited for my next move! I heard that making your final movie a two parter brings in more revenue so stay tuned for the sequel to this post Announcement Time V2 part 1 and part 2.

I was told I was not creative enough at my first marketing interview...4 years later, I'm been blessed to speak at the biggest search marketing conference in the UK. Today I aim to dispel the myth that people are born creative! I will teach you what I have learned in the past few years about ideation and how no matter your skill level you can learn to come up with banger ideas!See you at 11am #BrightonSEO

The most integral part of content creation is ideation...but its actually not as difficult as people think it is!I think anyone identifying as "not traditional creative" can be taught to come up with very creative ideas and I also think you can do it in less than 20 mins!Find out exactly how this week at #BrightonSEO
