How you’ll make an impact:

  • Drive our compensation philosophy and be the first point of contact in all matters regarding compensation and benefits
  • Partner with the leadership team & key stakeholders to develop and implement a revised reward strategy for trivago
  • Analyze, challenge and shape existing compensation programs and model potential alternatives that match trivago’s innovative culture and values
  • Ensure continuous review and improvement of our job architecture to ensure internal pay equity and external market competitiveness. Make sure our leads are equipped to navigate around our Job Architecture
  • Guide specialists responsible for the annual salary review process, including driving the annual review of pay ranges and strategic fit
  • Manage the preparation of benchmarks, forecasts, and budget planning to advise our stakeholders in strategic decisions or salary adjustments
  • Contribute to the long-term incentive programs and benefits trivago offers to maximize strategic workforce decisions

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar field that uses quantitative analysis
  • Have full competency in the field of compensation & benefits, ideally a track record in job architecture and long-term incentives
  • Strong Excel skills. You’ll have to know your way around writing formulas, creating a pivot table and be able to draw insights from data
  • Excellent communication skills in English that allow you to work cross-functionally, conveying your ideas with clarity and confidence to varied groups of stakeholders (peers and leadership team)
  • An analytical mindset that allows you to break down, understand and construct logical processes and an eye for details. You can spot the errors that others might miss
  • Adaptability and solution orientation. Thinking on your feet in a fast-paced environment

Stand out with:

  • Strategic C&B experience is a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of people areas such as Performance Management & Talent Development
  • Exposure to Workday, PowerBI is a plus.
