The eve of the big day...

Arsenal's Premier League title dreams will be determined on the final day and SunSport has all you need to know on what the Gunners need to lift the trophy for the first time since 2003/04.

Arsenal need to beat Everton at the Emirates on the final day and hope that Man City don't beat West Ham.

The Gunners could also win the title on goal difference should the two sides end on the same points.

For that to happen, the Gunners must win their final game against Everton and hope that West Ham either beat or draw away to Man City.

Should that scenario happen, Arsenal will win the Premier League title on goal difference.

Arsenal 'a mess' when Arteta arrived

Mikel Arteta has revealed "it was all a mess" when he arrived at Arsenal in December 2019.

The Spaniard has since guided the Gunners back into the Champions League and could win a first league title for 20 years on Sunday.

He told the BBC: "I said 'listen, this is not about the quality of the player or who is going to play better as a winger or that system or that formation or that training methodology. The issue is much deeper than that. The issue is in our roots'.

"So I get everybody together in one room one day and I put the whole room down. It was all a mess.

"I said 'this is what I hear and this is the perception of you guys from the outside. So if you want me to help you, you need to put this together and then we can start to work. We're going to try to have fun and enjoy together'."

    More on Bruno

Arsenal are facing stiff competition from Manchester City for Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes.

Newcastle also don’t want to lose Bruno Guimaraes, but the decision could be taken out of their hands if someone triggers his £100m release clause, which is valid between late May and the end of June.

As long as the clause is active, Newcastle are going to simply point to its value, but it’s understood offers exceeding £80m could be entertained should Guimaraes wish to leave for a Champions League club.

It should be stressed, Guimaraes is happy at Newcastle, but it’s also true that both Manchester City and Arsenal have made contact with his camp. Manchester City are the most active of the suitors.

Arsenal appreciate Guimaraes, but have no intention to trigger his clause meaning they would only enter the race if the price drops.
