    BRENTWOOD MIDDLE

    Maria Elekes: Received an honorable mention in the Brentwood Women's Club Poetry Contest.
    Natalie Beck:Won a silver regional medal in the 2010 Scholastic Art Contest.
    Rachel Caldwell:Won a silver regional medal in the 2010 Scholastic Art Contest.

    CENTENNIAL HIGH

    Paige Massey: Scored a perfect 800 on the Critical Reading and Mathematics portion of the SAT.

    GRASSLAND MIDDLE

    Adam Lane: Chosen to participate in the prestigious Mid State Band.
    Cameron Drury: Chosen to participate in the prestigious Mid State Band.
    Jacob Dubin:Won the Grassland Middle School National Geographic Geography Bee.

    INDEPENDENCE HIGH

    Chelsea LeRoy: Won the honor of Tournament of Champions in two events at a recent forensics tournament at Arlington High School.

    KENROSE ELEMENTARY

    Jessica Davis: Finished second in the Kenrose Spelling bee and will advance to the countywide bee.
    Patrick Fallon: Won the Kenrose Spelling Bee and will advance to the countywide spelling bee.

    RAVENWOOD HIGH

    Alicia Whitehouse: Won the award for Most Outstanding Speaker in the Senate at the Rossview Forensics Tournament.
    Tate Janasek: Represented the USA in the World Deaf Ice Hockey Games in Winnipeg, CA.

    SUNSET ELEMENTARY

    Jerry Lu: Won the Sunset Elementary Spelling Bee and will advance to the countywide spelling bee.

    SUNSET MIDDLE

    Alyssa Miller: Selected to be part of the Middle Tennessee Middle School Honor Choir.
    Emily Adams: Selected to be part of the Middle Tennessee Middle School Honor Choir.
    Jacob McKissok: Selected to be part of the Middle Tennessee Middle School Honor Choir.
    Lauren Castor: Selected to be part of the Middle Tennessee Middle School Honor Choir.
    Tyler Haley: Placed 4th in class for Middle Tennessee region, 7th in class for State and Top Ten in Skill-a-thon in State at the 4H State Hog Show.
